In short: Iro has no accounts, collects no personal data and sends none of your workouts to any server. Everything you log stays on your phone.

Who is responsible

Iro is an app by Iro Studio, a brand of [razón social] (TimeLab), tax ID [NIF], registered at [domicilio social]. You can write to us at hola@iro.fit.

What we collect

Today, Iro collects no data about you. It doesn't ask for your email or a password, uses no trackers or advertising, and builds no profile of you.

What stays on your phone

Your routines, workouts, weights, notes and settings, what Iro learns about your gym's machines and anything you choose to give it, such as your name, body weight or year of birth, are stored only on your device. We have no access to any of it. If you delete the app, that data goes with it.

Wear OS watch

If you use Iro on a Wear OS watch, the watch and the phone pass the workout to each other through Google Play services' connection between your devices. If you allow it, the watch reads your heart rate during the workout, and its average and maximum are saved with the workout on your phone. None of it reaches us, and you can withdraw the permission at any time in the watch's settings.

Android backup

If Android backup is on, the system may include Iro's data in the backup of your Google account so you can restore it on a new phone. Google manages that backup under its own privacy policy, and we can't see it. You can turn it off in your phone's settings.

Import and export

When you import your Hevy history or export your workouts as CSV, the file is processed on your phone. You decide where to keep it and who to share it with.

Purchases

In-app purchases are handled by Google Play and, later on, by Apple's App Store, as independent controllers under their own policies. We never receive your payment details. Iro only asks the store, from your phone, whether a purchase is valid, and sends nothing else. If Iro asks you for a rating, the window is Google Play's and your review goes straight to the store.

If you write to us

If you email us, we use your address and what you tell us only to reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your request. We delete it once the matter is settled, and after one year at most, and you can ask us to delete it sooner at any time.

This website

iro.fit uses no cookies, analytics or third-party content, and its fonts are served from the site itself. It's hosted by Cloudflare, which, like any server, processes your IP address to deliver the pages and protect them from attacks, and keeps it in its logs for a limited time.

Your rights

Since we keep no data about you, there's usually nothing on our side to access, correct or delete. If you think we hold any data of yours, write to hola@iro.fit. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

How to delete your data

Uninstall Iro, or clear its data in Android settings (Apps, Iro, Storage). If you use the watch, uninstall Iro there too. If you use Android backup, you can also delete the backup from your Google account settings.

Children

Iro isn't aimed at children under 14 and collects no data from anyone, including them.

Changes

Today Iro sends us nothing from your phone or your watch. If we ever add anonymous usage stats to improve the app, they will be opt-in: sent only if you turn them on, and we'll update this page and the date above before the change reaches the app.
